ORDINANCE NO. NS-315
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES FOR SIGNS IN CAR COUNTRY SPECIFIC PLAN APPLICANT : CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO. : SPECIFIC PLAN 19(G)
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californi;
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA SETTING FORTH
ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1995 the Carlsbad P1;
Commission held a duly noticed public hearing to consic
proposed amendment SP 19(G) to the existing Specific P1
regulate signing on property generally located between Cannor
and Palomar Airport Road (Car Country) be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carl
California held a public hearing on June 13, 1995 to conside
recommendat.ions and heard all persons interested in or oppos
Specific Plan Amendment SP 19 (G) setting forth standard;
procedures for signs in Car Country Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, after procedures in accordance with
requirements of law, the City Council has determined tha
public interest indicates that said plan be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Cal
does ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Specific Plan Amendment, SP-I
setting forth standards and procedures for signs other than f~
oriented signs in Car Country Specific Plan on file wit
Planning Director and incorporated herein by referencc
approved.

SECTION 11: That the findings of the Planning Corn
in Planning Commission Resolutions No. 3749 and No. 3750 c
with the City Clerk and incorporated by reference herein sha
constitute the findings of the City Council.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certi
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published ai
once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Ci
within fifteen days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting
Carlsbad City Council on the 20th day of JUNE ,
and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of th
Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 27th day of JUNE
1995, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila,
NOES: None
ABSENT : None
APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY
