ORDINANCE NO. NS-325
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.44, OF THE CARLSBAC
MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.500 TO ESTABLISH 1
PRIMA FACIE 40 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON CAMINO DE LO:
COCHES FROM RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD TO ITS INTERSECTION WITF
LA COSTA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is a1
by the addition of Section 10.44.500 to read as follows:
"10.44.500 Camino De Los Coches:
Upon Camino De Los Coches from Rancho Santa Fe Road to its intersecti
La Costa Avenue, the prima facie speed limit shall be forty miles per hour."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adopi
the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certrfy to the adoption of this ordinance and cause
published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbac
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council helc
17th - day of OCTOBER , 1995, and thereafter,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Clty
held on the 7th day of NOVEMBER , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Kulchin, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
