ORDINANCE NO. NS-335
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF CARLSBAD CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.08, OF THE CARLSBAC
MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE UNIFQRh,
MECHANICAL CODE (1994 EDITION).
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1 : That Title 18, Chapter 18.08 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is a1
to read as follows:
18.08.01 0 Adopted. The 1994 Ediition of the Uniform Mechanical Code, cop
by the International Conference of Building Officials, is adopted by reference
mechanical code of the City, except for the changes, additions and amendments set this Chapter, which shall supersede the provisions of said Code.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its adopti
the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be pub1
least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the city within fifteen days
adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 14th day of November , 1995 and the
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held on 1
day of DECEMBER , 1995 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Finnila, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Kulchin
