AN ORDJNANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21,
CHAPTER 21.05, SECTION 21.05.030 OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL, CODE BY AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING
MAP, TO GRANT A ZONE CHANGE, ZC 96-05, FROM 0 TO
C-T ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF ISLAND WAY AND SURFSIDE
LANE, IN LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 22.
CASE NAME: SEAPOINTE RESORT EXPANSION
CASE NO.: ZC 96-05
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follow
SECTION I: That Title 21, Chapter 21.05, Section 21.05.030 of the C
Municipal Code, being the Zoning Map, is amended to reflect a zone change from 0 to
shown on that portion of the map marked “Exhibit ZC 96-05”, attached hereto and mad
hereof by this reference.
SECTION 11: That the findings of the Planning Commission as set
Planning Commission Resolution No. 4077 constitutes the findings of the City Council.
SECTION 111: The Council further finds that this action is consistent
Land Use Element of the Carlsbad General Plan.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause
published at least once in a publication of general circulation in the City of Carlsbal
fifteen days after its adoption. Not withstanding the preceding, this ordinance shal
effective until approved by the California Coastal Commission.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carls
Council on the 24th day of June 1997, and thereafter.
