ORDINANCE NO. NS-425
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE RANCHO
CARRILLO MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT (MP 139(F)) ON
APPROXIMATELY 690 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED SOUTH
OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD, NORTH OF LOCAL
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 6, WEST OF THE
EASTERN CITY BOUNDARY, AND EAST OF THE BRESSI
RANCH PROPERTY (LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
ZONE 17), IN LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 18.
CASE NAME: RANCHO CARRILLO MASTER PLAN
CASE NO.: MP 139(F)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has review
considered a Master Plan for future development of the site; and
WHEREAS, after procedures in accordance with the requirements of the 1
City Council has determined that the public interest indicates that said plan be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does 01
follows:
SECTION I: That the Rancho Carrillo Master Plan, MP 139(F),
September 3, 1997, on file in the Planning Department, and incorporated by reference he
approved. The Master Plan shall constitute the zoning for this property and all develop1
the property shall conform to the plan.
SECTION 11: That the findings and conditions of the Planning Cornmi:
~ Planning Commission Resolution No. 41 67 shall also constitute the findings and condil
~ the City Council.
I EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days a
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause j
published at least once in a publication of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad

fifteen days after its adoption. (Not withstanding the preceding, this ordinance shai
effective within the City’s Coastal Zone until approved by the California Coastal Commi,
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsl
Council on the 21st day of October 1997, and thereafter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of thc
Carlsbad on the 28th day of October 1997, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Fjnnila, Nygaard, Kulchin, a
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
