111 ORDINANCE NO. ~s-431
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE IO, CHAPTER
10.40, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE ADDITION
OF SECTION 10.40.127 TO DECLARE A NO PARKING ZONE ON
PONTO DRIVE (SOUTH) BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11 :00 P.M.
AND 500 A.M., SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains a
SECTION 1 : That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is ar
the addition of Section 10.40.127 to read as follows:
“1 0.40.127 Parkinq Time Limit on Ponto Drive (south).
When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person
shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle on Ponto Drive (south) from a
point 266 feet south of Avenida Encinas and continuing northerly to its intersection with Carlsbad Boulevard between the hours of
I1 :00 p.m. and 300 a.m., seven days a week.”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after it:
and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and (
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlst
fifteen (1 5) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council he

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Cit
held on the 9th day of December , 1997 by the following vote, to wit:
