ORDINANCE NO. NS-479
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSB,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 18 CHAPTER 18.08, TO ADOPT
REFERENCE THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE(1997 EDITION).
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does ordain as follow
SECTION 1: That Title 18, chapter 18.08 of the Carlsbad Municipal Col
18.08.010 is amended to read as follows:
18.06.010 Adoetion. The Uniform Mechanical Code, 1997 Edition, copy
the International Conference of Building Officials, is adopted by reference a
Mechanical Code.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective on July 1, 1999, at
Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be pub1
newspaper of general circulation within the city within fifteen days after its adop
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad C
held on the 20 th day of April , 1999 and thereafter
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council h
4 th day of May , 1999, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Nygaard, Finnila & Kulchin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis
