ORDINANCE NO. 512
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE IO, CHAPTER
10.44, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.44.340 TO ESTABLISH A
PRIMA FACIE 45 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON
CALLE BARCELONA FROM EL CAMINO REAL TO ITS
INTERSECTION WITH RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1 : That Title IO, Chapter 10.44, of the Carlsbad Municipal Code i!
8 by the revision of Section 10.44.340 to read as follows:
9 “1 0.44.340 Calle Barcelona:

a. Upon Calle Barcelona from El Camino Real to its
intersection with Rancho Santa Fe Road, the prima facie speed
limit shall be forty-five miles per hour.
12 b. Upon Calle Barcelona from Rancho Santa Fe Road to its
intersection with Calle Acervo, the prima facie speed limit shall 13

be thirty miles per hour.”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after il
