ORDINANCE NO. NS-531
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.17.
18.18, AND 18.19 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE
TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM SWIMMING
POOL, SPA, AND HOT TUB CODE (1997 EDITION), THE
UNIFORM SOLAR ENERGY CODE (1997 EDITION), AND
THE UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF
DANGEROUS BUILDINGS (1997 EDITION)
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 18, Chapter 18, Section 18.17.010 of the Carlsbac
Code is modified to read:
18.17.010 Adoption of the Uniform Swimming. Spa, and Hot Tub Code. T
Swimming Pool, Spa, and Hot Tub Code, 1997 Edition, copyrighted by the I
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, except Section 110.0 FEES, is
reference as the City swimming pool, spa, and hot tub code.
SECTION 2 : That Title 18, Section 18.18.010 of the Carlsbad Municil
modified to read:
18.18.010 Adoption of the Uniform Solar Energy -_ Code. The Uniform Sc
Code, 1997 Edition, copyrighted by the International Association of Plumbing and
Officials, except Section 109.0 Cost of Permit, is adopted by reference as the City z
code.
SECTION 3: That Title 18, Section 18.19.010 of the Carlsbad Municir
modified to read:
18.19.010 Adoption of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerow
The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition, copyri!
International Conference of Building Officials, is adopted by reference as the Cit!
building code.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after i
