AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.44, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ADDITION OF SECTION 10.44.650 TO ESTABLISH A PRIMA
FACIE 35 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT UPON WINDROSE
CIRCLE FROM AVENIDA ENCINAS TO ITS INTERSECTION
WITH NAVIGATOR CIRCLE (SKAPSTAN DRIVE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.44 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended

II by the addition of Section 1044.650 to read as follows:

‘10.44.650 Windrose Circle: Upon Windrose Circle from
Avenida Encinas to its intersection with Navigator Circle
(S)/Capstan Drive the prima facie speed limit shall be thirty-five
miles per hour.”
12 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption
13 and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within
14 fifteen (15) days after its adoption.

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
13th day of June ,2000, and thereafter,

16 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
19 held on the 20th day of June I 2000 by the following vote, to wit:
