AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.40, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY
THE REVISION OF SECTION 10.40.158 TO ESTABLISH A
THREE-HOUR PARKING TIME LIMIT ON STATE STREET FROM
BEECH AVENUE TO CARLSBAD BOULEVARD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by
the revision of Section 10.40.158 to read as follows:
“10.40.158 Parkinq Time Limit on State Street. There will be
three-hour parking on each side of State Street from Oak Avenue to Carlsbad Boulevard between the hours of seven a.m. and
six p.m. except for Sundays and holidays.”
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption
and the City Clerk, City of Carlsbad, shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
9th day of OCTOBER ,2001, and thereafter,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 16th day of OCTOBER (2001 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Finnila, Nygaard, Hall
NOES: None
BSENT: None
