AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA TO AMEND SECTION 2.08.020
OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADJUST THE
COMPENSATION OF THE CITY TREASURER
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That section 2.08.020 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
“2.08.020 Compensation of City Treasurer
(a) Effective January 1, 2005, the compensation of the City Treasurer is

fixed at the sum of $970 (nine hundred seventy dollars) per month payable biweekly.

EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty days after its
adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to
be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad
within fifteen days after its adoption.
