ORDINANCE NO. NS-8842
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.40, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
4 ADDITION OF SECTION 10.40.129 TO DECLARE A NO PARKING
ZONE ON EACH SIDE OF AFTON WAY FROM CELINDA DRIVE
5 TO ITS WESTERLY TERMINUS.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
7 SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
8 by the addition of 10.40.129 to read as follows:
9 "10.40.129 Parking Restricted on Afton Way.
There will be no parking on each side of Afton Way from
Celinda Drive to its westerly terminus."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption;

and the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least
13
once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within fifteen (15) days after its

adoption.

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council on
the 1st day of April, 2008, and thereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 8th day of April, 2008, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
