CS-015 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.32 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE 4 AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10.32.091 TO ADD A PORTION OF EL FUERTE STREET TO SECTION 10.32.091 AS A TRUCK 5 ROUTE. 6 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows: 7 SECTION 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.32 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended g by the revision of Section 10.32.091 to read as follows: g The prohibition set forth in Section 10.32.090 shall not apply to the following streets and portions of streets which are designated and 1Q established truck routes, as follows: 11 (a) Carlsbad Boulevard from the northerly city limits to the southerly city limits; 12 (b) Carlsbad Village Drive from Carlsbad Boulevard east to Interstate 5 Freeway; 13 (c) Tamarack Avenue from Interstate 5 Freeway to Carlsbad Boulevard; 14 (d) Cannon Road, from Carlsbad Boulevard to El Camino Real; (e) Interstate 5 Freeway, northerly city limits to southerly city limits; 15 (f) Palomar Airport Road from Carlsbad Boulevard to easterly city limits; 16 (g) El Camino Real from northerly city limits to southerly city limits; (h) Repealed by Ord. 3216 § 1; 17 (i) La Costa Avenue from the westerly city limits to El Camino Real; lg (j) Rancho Santa Fe Road from the southerly city limits to the northerly city limits; 19 (k) Olivenhain Road from the westerly city limits to Rancho Santa Fe Road; 20 (I) deleted (m) Melrose Drive from Palomar Airport Road to the northerly city 21 limits; (n) Faraday Avenue from Cannon Road to the easterly city limits; 22 (o) College Boulevard from Palomar Airport Road to El Camino Real; 23 (p) El Fuerte Street from Palomar Airport Road to Faraday Avenue." 24 25 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption; and 26 the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be published at least once in 27 a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. 28 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council on the 18th day of November, 2008, and thereafter. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 2nd day of December, 2008, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
