AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER
10.40, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
4 REVISION OF SECTION 10.40.080 TO DESIGNATE ANGLE
PARKING ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE.

6 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, hereby ordains as follows:
7 Section 1: That Title 10, Chapter 10.40 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended
8 to read as follows:
9 "10.40.080 Angle parking.
10 In accordance with Section 10.40.025, and when signs or marking
11 are in place giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles may stand or
12 park a vehicle only as indicated by such marks or signs on the
1 ^ following streets or portions thereof:
14 (1) On both sides of State Street commencing at the
intersection of State Street and Grand Avenue and extending
northward three hundred twenty-five feet;

(2) On both sides of State Street between the intersection of
18
Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue;
19
(3) Repealed by Ord. 3157 § 1;
20
(4) On the south side of Grand Avenue from 150 west of
21
Roosevelt Street to Harding Street;

(5) On the north side of Grand Avenue from Jefferson Street
to Hope Avenue;
25 (6) On both sides of Grand Avenue from Ocean Street to
2Q Carlsbad Boulevard.

1 EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after
2 its adoption; and the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this ordinance and
3 cause it to be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the
4 City of Carlsbad within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.

INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council on
the 12th day of May, 2009, and thereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 19th day of May, 2009 by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Members Kulchin and Packard.
ABSTAIN: None.
