Dear Ms. Hall:
On behalf of Carlsbad City Library, I am pleased to inform you that Carlsbad Playreaders will
receive $3,500 from the Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation's Robert H. Gartner Cultural
Endowment Fund for the 2015 calendar year.

worthy of receiving Cultural Endowment funding based on the vision statement for Schulman
Auditorium programs.
This letter is to serve as a Letter of Agreement. A check for $2625, 75% of the total amount, will
be issued when the Library is notified in writing that the project has begun. The fmal payment of
$875, the remaining 25%, will be issued after a completed Final Report is submitted to our
office. Your project must be completed and your final report filed no later than December 31,
2015.
All organizations receiving funds must give credit to the Endowment Fund in all publicity

Dear Ms. Pizzuto,
Carlsbad Playreaders is pleased to be the recipient of funding through the Robert H.
Gartner Cultural Endowment Fund for its 2015 season to be held in the Schulman
Auditorium.
This letter is to notify you that work has begun on our 2015 season. Seven shows have
been selected and the season was announced at the final show of 2014 and is now on
our web site. Rehearsals will soon be underway for our first show, Jake's Women by
Neil Simon. The performance on February 9 is sure to be another sold out house!
As you know, we accept a small donation ft-om our patrons at each show but it does not
cover the actual cost of the production or operational expenses. Without this generous
support from The Robert H. Gartner Cultural Endowment Fund, we would not be able to
produce this season of plays.
All correspondence for the 2015 season should be directed to:
