HomeMy WebLinkAboutNorth County Transit District; 2006-04-07;MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN NORTH COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF CARLSBAD This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made and entered into by and between North County Transit District (NCTD), owner of railroad right-of-way ("Right- of-Way"), and the City of Carlsbad (City). The purpose of this MOU is to document the parties understanding and responsibilities with respect to cost reimbursement for NCTD activities concerning the replacement of asphalt approaches at the Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue crossings on behalf of the City. 1. City is to reimburse NCTD, within thirty (30) days for all costs and expenses incurred by NCTD in connection with the replacement of the six-foot asphalt approaches at Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue. 2. Total costs for the replacement of both six-foot asphalt approaches are estimated to be $12,000 ($6,000 per approach). 3. All billings pursuant to this MOU shall be addressed to the City as follows: Attn: Heidi Heisterman City of Carlsbad Department of Public Works - Street Maintenance 405 Oak Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be executed by and through their respective officers hereunto duly authorized on the date written next to their signature.
