WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 906 Carlsbad City Planning Commission did on April 28, 1970 hold a noticed public hearing to consider the app-lication of L.R. I I !I 1 e 61 i 7, 8i I I 21 I 12 , 91 20 1 i I RESOLUTION NO. 1728 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISXONS REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-A 10,000 to P-C (PLANNED COMMUNITY) ZONE AND ADOPTION OF A MASTER PLAN, ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF THE INTERS€CTION OF HARINA DRIVE AND PARK DRIVE. WHEREAS, on the 28th day of April , 1970, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 662, which is herewith referred to and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on May 19, 1970, a duly advertised public hearing was held as prescribed by law to consider a Change of Zone from R-A-l0,000 to P-C (Planned Community) Zone, and Adoption of a Master Plan, to be developed in conformance with all requirements i i 15 ~ 16 17 18 19 real property located East of the Intersection of Marina Drive and Park Drive, more particularly described as Follows: That Portion of Lot 1, Rancho Agua Hedionda, Map 823, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; being a portion of Parcel 34 and all of Parcel 31, Book 207, Page 10 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego, Ccunty; more particularly described in application on file in the office of the City Clerk. 20 21 WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all persons interested in or posed to the proposed 2'1 28 BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi- ,2911 fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Qrdinanc No. 9060 as xx amended. xx BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Carlsbad does hereby declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the $1 proposed change of zone classification. 41 5 City Council held on the 19th day of Ma.y , 1970, by 6 the following vote to wit: 7i AYES: Mayor Dunne, Cmn. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, DOES ORDAIN, that Carlsbad Zoning Ordinance No. read as follows: 9060 is amended to 5 SECTION 1.
