Statement of the Matter
Future improvements proposed at cul-de-sac on Jeanne Place will
necessitate the dedication of land for public street purposes.
• A portion of Jeanne Place (Lot D, Holiday Manor, Map No. 5054,
recorded October 17, 1962) previously rejected for public street
purposes should now be accepted (See Exhibit "A") .

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD RESCINDING REJECTION AND ACCEPTING
DEDICATION OF PUBLIC STREET
On October 15, 1962, the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad approved the final subdivision map of Holiday Manor and
at that time rejected the offer of dedication for public street
purposes on Lot D.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad now rescinds its
said rejection of that portion of said Lot D described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof and does accept
said offer of dedication of said portion for public street purposes
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held May 5, 1970, by the following
vote, to wit:

Legal Description - Portion of Lot D
That portion of Lot D of Holiday Manor, Map No. 5054 recorded
October 17, 1962, in the Office of the Recorder of San Diego
County, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most southwesterly corner of Lot 23 of Map
No. 5054 said point being the most northeasterly corner of Lot D;
Thence south 26°12'00" west 36.30 feet along the southeasterly
boundary of said subdivision to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence continuing on said line south 26°12'00" west 51.70 feet
to a point on a curve concave northeasterly having a radius of
44.00 feet, said point being the most easterly corner of Lot 22
of said Map;

Thence westerly through a central angle of 1°18'07" an arc
distance of 1.00 foot, said point being the most southwesterly
corner of Lot D;
Thence north 26°12'00" east 51.69 feet, said line being
parallel and 1.00 foot westerly of said subdivision boundary;
Thence south 63°49'00" East 1.00 foot to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
