Exhibit Resolution No. Staff Recommendations 198 July 3, 1970AB No. Iao Date.- City Manager's Recommendation Construction of Interstate 5 places a number of demands on the Water Department construction fund in addition to general system improve- ments that are badly needed. Any monies that may be found to allo- cate to the Water .Department construction fund will be of assistance in reducing the backlog of requirements in this area. The Water Committee recommendation is concurred in, and the City Council is requested to approve a transfer as recommended. Council Action 7-7-70 Resolution #1753 was adopted, authorizing the transfer of excess funds in the Water Department Bond Service Fund to the Water Department Construct-on Fund, as recommended by the • Water Committee. -2- 1 2 3 4 5 8 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 RESOLUTION NO. 1753 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REGARDING TRANSFER OF CERTAIN WATER DEPARTMENT FUNDS TO THE WATER DEPARTMENT CON- STRUCTION FUND. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: 1. That all excess funds in the Bond Service Fund of the Water Department shall be transferred to the Construction Fund of the Water Department. 2. That all monies produced from the sale or lease of non- productive Water Department property, whether in the past or future, shall be transferred to the Water Department Construction Fund. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held July 7. 1970, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Mayor Dunne, Cmn.
