Statement of the >Tatter -
Mr. C. R. Baughman has requested the quitclaim of a City of Carlsbad
water line easement that crosses his property on Skyline-Road (Lot 27,
Carlsbad Estates) , see. Attachment "A". An investigation has revealed
that this particular portion of the easement is no longer of any use
to the City as the water lines are presently located in the Skyline
"Road right of way.
Also, that portion of the easement crossing Lot 26, Carlsbad Estates,
owned by Catherine Linnett, may also be quitclaimed at this time.

That Council adopt a motion authorizing the Mayor to execute the quit-
claim of that water line easement granted to the Carlsbad Mutual Water
Company on March 7, 1945, that crosses Lots 26 and 27 of Carlsbad
Estates.
