Dear Mayor Dunne and Members of the City Council:
CARAVANS
The City of Carlsbad has the distinct honor of being the
home of the Y.M.C.A. Aquatic Park.... an unique site used

by 3,700 different youth and family campers last year.
We sincerely have appreciated the continued cooperation
we have received from your various City departments, all
iof which have been easy to work with.
,wwY INDIAN GUIDES
Various Y.M.C.A.'s, Boys` Clubs, Scouts, churches and
other youth groups already have the place booked solid
i' (r every weekend up to October of this year..,.in fact we
probably will be turning away 20-30 groups who would
like to use this site in 1971.
You should also know that the MiraCosta College and a
i couple of your local grammar schools use the facilities
Y TEEN CENTER for some of their educational outings.
Thanks again to everyone who has played a role in
maintaining this facility for today`s youth to enjoy.
