Statement of the Matter
The Boys Club of Carlsbad has requested funding for the annual Summer
Community Swim Program in the amount of $700.00. This program has been conducted by the Boys Club in behalf of the City recreation program for
several years.

Honorable Gentlemen:
The Boys! Club of Carlsbad has been coordinating a summer swim program for the last five years, and is again extending an opportunity
for the City of Carlsbad to use the swimming pool.
the community have realized the value of this coordinated effort in the
free swim and instructional swim program for the girls in Carlsbad,
and we hope to continue this fine program.
The following is the days and hours of the Summer Community Swim
Program :
The citizens of
Tuesdays - Swimming Instruction 9-12 Free Swim 1:OO-3:00
Scuba Lessons 3:OO-4:00
Thursdays- Swimming Instruction 9-12 Free Swim 1:OO-3:00
Scuba Class 3:OO-4:00
The program would start on June 22nd and extend to September 3rd.
This will cover 11 weeks of swimming.
will again be $700.00 for pool maintenance, equipment and ins truc-
tion.
The cost of the program
We appreciate the opportunity to be able to provide this program to
the community .
