Priday - Statement of the Matter Traffic Safety Commission requested that action be taken to prohibit parking in the unpaved parkway area along Monroe Street east of the high school. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: 1. A no parking area between 8:OO a.m. and 5:OO p.m. is hereby designated on the Easterly side of Monroe Avenue for a distance of approximately 400 feet beginning at a point 290 feet north of the center- line of Chestnut Avenue, and that the area be properly posted. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City .of, Carlsbad, California, held April 6, 197.7., by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Ounne, McComas, Castro and Lewis NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Jardine DAVID M.
