Statement of the Matter
At their meeting of April 5, 1971 the Traffic Safety Commission recommended a stop sign be installed on Ocean Avenue at Cedar.

Recommend passage of Resolution No.lBgC. Please note that the time
lapse between April and the present was due to construction along the
ocean front. It appeared that another stop sign at that location would ,further complicate the traffic problem.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DESIGNATING OCEAN STREET AS A STOP STREET AT CEDAR AVENUE RE ORDINANCE 3005, SECTION 29
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. That Ocean Street in the City of Carlsbad is hereby
designated as a stop street at Cedar Avenue, and
all vehicles entering the said intersection on
Ocean Street are hereby required to stop at the
entrance to said intersection.
PASSEI;, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City
Coincil of the City of Carlsbad, California, held August 3,
1971, by the following vote, to wit:
