Statement of the Matter At thelr August 2, 1971 meeting the Traffic Safety Commission recommended that there be "No Parking" on the north side of Palomar Airport Road from Interstate 5 east to the City limits. Minutes of the meeting of July 12, 1971 were approved. No parking northside of Palomar Airport Road from Palomar Airport Road offramp easterly to City limits; and no park- ,Ans of trucks both sides of Lowder Lane from Palomar Airport Road to the southerly terminus. Traffic Commission recommended that there be "NO Parking" on the north side of Palomar Airport Road from Interstate 5 east to City limits. Commission also recommended the Police Dept. make frequent field checks concerning truck and/or trailer abuse to paving in Lowder Lane (dolly-wheels sinking in asphalt). Mr. Priday brought up the need for bicycle safety as there still seems to be a problem of unlighted bicycles on the streets at night.
