Statement of the Matter

Dr. Packard'owns property which fronts on Lot ''E" of Carlsbad Manor No. 1.
He wishes to build a home on his property and'requires access to a public
sewer. The public sewer terminates at the edge of Lot ''E". Dr: Packard
desires to obtain an easement, as shown on Exhibit (A), which will allow
him to connect to the existing sewer.
The owner of the underlying fee for Lot ''E" has agreed to sgll Dr. Packard
an easement which will permit him to connect to the sewer.
''E" 'has been offered to the City for dedication as a "futke street".
The City.has not accepted dedication.
indicated he wishes the City to vacate its rights to Lot "E".
