Fred R. and Elizabeth Harris recently installed street improvements in front of their 'property located at the northeast corner of the intersection
of,Buena Vista Avenue and Tuttle Street. Before the improvements were .installed, Mr. and Mrs. Harris granted a road easement to the City of Carlsbad to accommodate the new improvements.
Mr. .and Mrs. Harris request a street vacation be initiated for a 1.5 foot strip of Buena Vista Avenue adjacent to their property.
is surplus-right of way and is not needed by the City of Carlsbad.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby declare its intention to proceed under the pro- visions of Street Vacation Act of 1941 to vacate those certain portions of Buena Vista Avenue located with-
in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, particularly described on Map No. 163-
10, on file in the Office of the City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad and on Ex- hibit “A” attached thereto.
2. A public hearing shall be held at the City Council
Chambers at 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, Cali-
fornia, at 7:30 P.M., Jan-
uary 4, 1972, for the pur-
pose of hearing all persons interested inor objecting to said proposed vacation.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meet- ing of the City Council, held
December 7, 1971, by the fol- lowing vote, to wit AYES: Cmn. Dunne, Mc-

RESOLUTION NO. 1927
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE
PORTIONS OF BUENA VISTA AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby declare
its intention to proceed under the provisions of Street
Vacation Act of 1941 to vacate those certain portions of
Buena Vista Avenue located within the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, particularly de-
scribed on Map No. 163-10, on file in the Office of the
City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad and on Exhibit "A"
attached thereto.
A public hearing shall be held at the City Council Chambers 2.
