Statement of the Matter
Mr. Ecke has offered for lease the beach property between tho two
j'ettys..for the sum of $.1.00.per year.

City Manager's Recommendation
It should be understood that under this proposed lease Mr. Ecke will
.continue to pay the property taxes and the City's net cost will be
AlAO annually.' It.is recommended the lease be entered into and Mr.
Ecke thanked for making this .parking ava.ilable .far users o'f the beach.
.It also should be noted that since there is no extended term on this
lease beyond a simple year-to-year agreement, the_Parks and Recreation
Director has indicated that it would not be possible to enter into ex-
tensive.landscaping.
