The City Gouncil on December 7, 1971, adopted Resolution No, 1927, A
Resolueion of Intention for vacating a Portion of Buena Vista Avenue.
- The City Council set January 4, 1972, at the hour of 7:30 P,M, as the
time and the City Council Chambers, - 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California,
as fhe plac'e for a public heari'ng for all'persons i.nterested in or
objecting to said proposed vacation.
A street dedication of 181.8 square feet was granted by Mr. & Mrs. Harris
surplus right of way.
All utility companies were .notified of the proposed vacation.

RESOLUTION NO 1936
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD VACATING PORTIONS OF BUENA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. That all publication and posting of notices regarding
the proposed vacation of portions of Buena Vista Avenue pursuant
to Resolution of Intention No. 1927 have been given as required
by law.
2. That the City Council did hear the evidence offered by
all persons interested in said proposed street vacation, and does
find from all the evidence submitted that those portions of Buena
Vista Avenue located at the Northeast corner of Buena Vista
Avenue and Tuttle Street in the City of Carlsbad, County of San
Diego, State of California, particularly described on Exhibit A,
attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein, are
unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does
hereby make this order vacating said portions of Buena Vista
Avenue.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held January 4, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis,
NOES : None.

PORTION OF BUENA VISTA AVENUE

That portion of Buena Vista Avenue, formerly Bailey Street, as shown on Sunny Slope Tract of Carlsbad, in the City of
Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, ac-
cording to Map thereof No. 486, filed in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County on February 7, 1888, de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the most Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 12
of said Map 486; thence West along the South lot line of
said lot 45.27 feet to a point on a 10.00 foot radius
curve concave Northeasterly, a radial line through last
said point bears South 31O47 '18" West; thence Southeasterly
along the arc of last said curve through a central angle
of 31O47'18" a distance of 5.55 feet to a point of tangency;
thence East along a line that runs parallel with and is
1.50 feet South of the Southerly line of said Lot 1, 40.00
feet: thence North 1.50 feet to the Point of Beginning.
As shown for convenience sake on Attachment "l", attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
