NEAR LAN1 KAI TRAILER PARK. Section 10. 40: 041 is hereby added to the Carlsbad Municipal Code, as .. follows: “IO. 40.04Ua) parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited during all hours of the day and night at the following location: The East frontage road of Carisbad Boulevard from the Northerly line of Section 29, T 12S-R4W to a point 4800 feet Southerly thereof.” (b).Parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited between 1200 o’clock mid-night and 6:OO a.m., on the Westerly side of Carlsbad Boulevard from a point 3200 feet Northerly of the LaCosta Downs over crossing to a point 300 feet Southerly of the LaCosta Downs over crossing. (c) The Carlsbad Police Department is hereby authorized to remove any such illegally parked vehicle. (d) Adequate signs and markings shall be erected to give adequate ncjtice of the regulations stated in this section 10. 40.041(a), (b), and (c) here- in above.” EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect immediately because it is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety in that presently there is no ordinance in the City of Carlsbad restricting the type of activity described in this ordinance, and it is necessary for the protection of the pubUc health, safety and welfare, that this ordinance be enacted immediately. ADDING CARLSBAD CARLSAAD PROHIBITING VEHICLE PARKING ON PART MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 10.40.042. Section 10. 40. 042 is hereby added to the Carlsbad Municipal Code, as follows: "10.40. 042 (a) Parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited during all hours of the day and night on the Westerly side of Carlsbad Boulevard from a point 500 feet Northerly of Tierra Del Oro to a point 400 feet Southerly of Tierra Del Oro. (b) The Carlsbad Police Department is hereby authorized to remov any such illegally parked vehicle. (c) Adequate signs and markings shall be erected to give adequate notice of the regulations stated in this sect.ion 10. 40.042 (a), (b), and (c) hereinabove. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirty-first day from and after its adoption. PUBLICATION: The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directed to cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal a newspaper published and of general circulation in said City of Carlsbad.
