Council'Action 7-18-72 Resolution #2050 adopting Salary schedules for 1972-73 and exhibits was adopted. . - -2- RESOLUTION NO. 2050 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING THE 3 SALARY PLAN FOR THE CITY FOR 1972-73 FISCAL YEAR. 4 WHEREAS, the City Council did on May 31, 1972, June 14, 1972, 5 June 20, 1972 and July 3, 1972, hold discussions regarding standard 6 rates of pay, position titles, hours of work and holidays for all City employees; 8 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does *s resolve as follows: 10 1. The following standard rates, with step increases set forth thereafter, described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby established as the salary plan for the City J.O of Carlsbad.14 The normal eligibility for salary step increases shall be six15 months of meritorious service for Step B; one year for Step C; one16 year for Step D; and one year for Step E. These normal step increases shall be granted upon recommendation18 of the Department Head and approval by the City Manager. DoubleJL y step increases, or step increases in less than the normal time of service, may be permitted for exceptional work performance or unusual employment conditions. 2. The Standard Range and Class Titles described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby adopted for the OK 1972-73 fiscal year.<oO 26 XX 27 XX 28 XX 29 XX 30 XX 31 XX 32 XX 1 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of the City 2 of Carlsbad at an adjourned meeting held on the 18th day of July, 1972, 3 by the following vote, to wit: 4 5 AYES: Cmn.
