- Statement of the Matter
At thC"Ju1y meeting, the Traffic Safety Commission recognized that a 5%
control of their vehicles and collide with parked vehicles along the cross slope is causing a disproportionate number of motorists to lose
east side of Carlsbad Blvd. between Sequoia Ave. and Pine Ave. It is the recmendation of the Cmission that "No Parking" be zoned for the ' subject section of Carlsbad Blvd.,,

RESOLUTION NO. 2053
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAO ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE EASTERLY SIDE OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD FROM SEQUOIA AVENUE TO PINE AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
That the public safety requires the "no parking" zone along
the Easterly side of Carlsbad Boulevard frm Sequoia Avenue to
Pine Avenue to aid in reduction of parked vehicle collisions.
, 1 PASSEQ APPROVED, AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the
City Council held August 1, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
RYES : Cmn. McComas. Lewis and Frazee.
NOES: Cmn. Dunne and Chase.
ABSENT : None.
