Exhibit 1.. Copy of Letter dated October 4, 1972 to LAFCO from City Clerk. 2. Stipulations regarding County Service Area #2 - La Costa. City Manayer's Reconmendation .- The letter from the City Clerk indicates- to LAFCO the City should be statutes provide alternatives. The letter, therefore, requests waiver of Condi-tion #7 placed on by LAFCO. All employees of Rancho-Santa Fe Fire Protection District presently el;iployed for, and on behalf of County Service Area #2 - La Costa - wil.1 become employees of the City at the present City rate for such rank. All benefits such as health insurance and retirement will be at least at the same level as presently enjoyed, without any loss of continuity of such benefits . 7l 8' 9 l41/ 2. Any obligations, contracts or liabilities of County of Carlsbad; such employees will enjoy the same rights and privileges as other employees of the City.
