Statement of the Hatter
Applicant (Sonneman & Grant) has filed a parcel map to create two
parcels as required by Ordinance #9327. The City Council, by
Ordinance #9298, approved a specific plan for the northwest quadrant
of Elm Ave. and Interstate 5, requiring that the applicant enter
into a future improvement agreement for street improvements on Grand
Avenue and provide sufficient water flow for fire protection. The
Fire Chief has recommended this method for obtaining adequate fire
protection for this area.
