The attached exhibit shows the extent of the proposed one-way alley entrance. To implement this recommendation, adoption of a resolution designating a one-way alley entrance at subject location is required. The remainder of the alley would remain two-way. A possible alternative considered was to eliminate parking adjacent to the alley. The recommended solution is far less detrimental to operations of businesses in the area. Exhibit 1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve k as follows: 1. That the entrance to the alley which intersects the North side of Elm Avenue and runs from Elm Avenue to Grand Avenue be- g tween State Street and Roosevelt Street be designated one way from 6! t the northerly extended curb line of Elm Avenue.to a point 60 feet to the north in said alley. 2.
