Statement of the Matter
In accordance with the provisions of Section 3.28.100 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code, bids for the installation of an air conditioning syst for the City Council Chambers were opened on January 12, 1973. Two
their bid contains information which is contradictory and thus con- sidered disqualifying. Therefore, rather than open the City to criticism arising from interpretations of bids, it is requested that the Council reject both bids and authorize the Purchasing Agent to readvertise and solicit new bids.
