At the regular meeting of the City Council on December 19, 1972, it was reported that sidewalk on both sides of Tamarack Ave. could be installed for approximately $2500; due to the condition of the General Fund reserve at that time, the appropriate source of funds appeared to be Revenue Sharing. However, these funds were never appropriated for the sidewalk project, due to other items of higher priority. Some excess funds are available in Gas Tax Account 2-2109-21. These funds ($2000) plus contingency funds in the street maintenance fund could be used to construct the sidewalk. Work would be performed by City forces. .- Exhibit Staff Recommendations .-_ Adopt a motion: . 1.
