Re:Tentative Map of Carlsbad,
Tract 729
Gentlemen:
On July 5, 1972, your council, by Resolution No. 2040,
approved the referenced tentative map of our client, L. E.
Liddle.
Due to the passage of Coastal Zone Conservation Act
by initiative on November 8, 1972, there has been an un-
avoidable delay in commencing construction in the sub-
division for the purpose of obtaining the necessary permit
from the San Diego Coast Regional Commission; this is ex-
pected to be issued in the near future.
In view of the above unexpected delay, it is hereby
requested that the City's approval of the referenced tenta-
tive map be extended for a period of one year to July 5,
1974.
Your courtesies are appreciated.
Very truly yours,
, VET/pi// KNAUF AND LOY
