Statement of the Matter
Provisions of Specific Plan No. 101 require the installation of h
street frontage on this property. Because of the extremely flat
grade of Harrison Street, permanent street improvements are not
feasible at this time. It is recommended that temporary pavement
widening be constructed and a future street improvement agreement
be executed by the developer.
Authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a future
improvement agreement is required..

Adopt a motion authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the
attached future improvement agreement on behalf of the City.

Concur.*
This is a future improvement district requiring the owner of- the
property to participate in the future when permanent streets go_
in. This procedure is followed when it is impossible•for the
developer to make improvements at the present" time but the street
improvement agreement..makes provisions for the ow'ner to participate,
at a future date. The st'aff advises that it would-be impossible
for the developer to make the.street improvements at' this time •
and it is recommended that the Council approve the future street
improvement agreement.
