Statement of the Matter
On August 15, 1973, the City Council by Resolution No. 2064 approved
the tentative map of Carlsbad Tract 72-19. Applicant has experienced
a lengthy delay in the issuance of the necessary permit from the San
Diego Coast Regional Commission. The owner has requested that the
subject tentative map be extended for a period of one year to August
15, 1974.

Adopt a motion approving the applicant's request that the tentative map
of Carlsbad Tract 72-19 be extended for a period of one year.

The Public Works Director advises that Planning, Engineering, Fire
Department and the Building Department h-ave been contacted t>o

tentative map, and, therefore, having received no•objections, it

Dear Mr. Nikkinen
Because of the delays inposed on me by Proposition 20 I have been
unable to complete the necessary ground work for the CANTAMAR
project.
Therefore I request at this time an extention on tentative map
72-19 until such work can be performed and all avenues made ready
for the construction of said project.
