Statement of the Matter
It is anticipated that the contract with Weardco for the construction
of Phase I I-A of the Encina Water Pollution Control Facility will be
approved by the Joint Advisory Committee and that the Committee will"
recommend that the contract be executed by each of the Owner Agencies.

and authorizing the City's representatives to execute, on behalf of the

RESOLUTION NO.3298
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE PHASE
I I-A EXPANSION OF THE ENCINA WATER
POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, as follows:
That the construction contract for the proposed 4.0 MGD
expansion of the Encina Water Pollution Control Facility, known
as Phase II-A, negotiated by Contract Administrators with Weardco
Construction Company, is hereby approved.
The City's representatives to the Joint Advisory Committee
are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City, the
contract with Weardco Construction Company for said construction.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 4th day of December ;
1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, McComas, Lewis, Chase and Frazee.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
