Statement of the Hatter Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad Tract 72-24'Unit No. 1 in conformance with State Subdivision Map Act and applicable local ordinances of the City of Carlsbad. The final map conforms substantially with the tentative map approved by City Council on December 19, 1972 by Resolution No. 3031. NOTE: Should Council deny the tentative map time extension .(see Agenda Bill #972) then final map approval should also be denied. • . Exhibit A. AB No. 972 Supplement No. 2 • nat-f>-. - • ' vate. —March 6. 1974 City Manager's Recommendation Some time ago a request was made for a tentative map time extens'ion. .That extension has not yet been granted because the applicant was in the process of making..final arrangements "to meet the City's Public Facilities Policy. Since the original tentative map has expired, and-the tentative map extension has not been granted yet, the applicant does not have a valid tentative map, even though he has now finished his final map and has made application for final map approval. To keep the record straight, the. tentative map should first be extended (see Agenda Bill 972), then the final map approval should be granted. This recommendation*ls conditioned upon applicant having satisfied the Public Facilities Policy. Council Action' APPROVED
