Statement of the Matter
This item is being presented to Council for their consideration in order
to update the current Council Resolution on Standard Specifications for
Public Works.
The Standard Specifications for Public Works, commonly called the "Green
Book". has been recently revised and reissued as a 1973 edition. The
City utilizes this publication in all Public Works contracts, therefore
there is a need to officially adopt the current edition to preclude any
ambiguities that may develop from misinterpretation if the edition of
the Green Book was not cited.
