The low bid for the contract was submitted by Asphalt Service of Oceanside
in the amount of $59,844.87.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
A BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT FOR'ASPHALT CONCRETE OVERLAY OF
VARIOUS - CITY STREETS, CONTRACT 1021
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
That the bid of $59,844.87 by Asphalt Service, P.O. Box C,
Oceanside, CA 92054, a California corporation, for Contract 1021,
the asphalt concrete overlay of various City streets, is hereby d
accepted and the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorize
to execute the contract.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the 18til day of June ,
1974, by the following vote, to wit:

Laguna Drive from State St. to Jefferson St. was deleted from the City
Council approved list, due to underground telephone cables which are to be installed in the 1975-76 period by Pacific Telephone Co.
Jefferson Street from Route 5 to Highway 78 was added to the priority
list due to its poor condition and traffic flows.
*tonnage is approximate only; these streets will be resurfaced provided sufficient funds are available.
