' Statement of the Matter
I. Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad
•Tract 73-10 for conformance with the State Subdivision Map Act and
applicable local ordinances of the City of Carlsbad.
The final map conforms substantially to the conditions of the tentative
map approved by the City Council on July 3, 1973, Resolution No. 3152.
II. A portion of lot 697 designated "portion of lot 697 reserved for
future street", La Costa Meadows Unit No. 4, Map No. 7367 recorded
July 19, 1972 was offered for dedication but was rejected by the
County and never accepted by-the City.
Acceptance of this reserved future street is now in order (see
Exhibit B). This will complete the street design requirement
for Carlsbad Tract 73-10.
Please note that the tentative map time extension request was approved
by City Council on July 2, 1974.

FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES CERTAIN
PREVIOUSLY REJECTED EASEMENTS

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. The following described real property located in the City
of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, particularly
described as portion of Lot 697 designated "portion of lot 697
reserved for future street" according to Map thereof No. 7367,
recorded July 19, 1972, which was previously rejected by the
Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego for public street
purposes, is now hereby accepted for public street purposes.
2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall cause a
certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County and to cause a copy thereof
to be forwarded to the County Assessor of the County of San Diego,
State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 16th
day of July , 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilman Frazee, Chase, McComas, Lewis and Skotnicki.
NOES: None. /? .
ABSENT: None.
