The City Council at your meeting of October 15, 1974, directed the City
Attorney to prepare the necessary documents approving Tentative Map
(CT 74-20). The resolution approving the Tentative Map is attached.

Concur with staff recommendation.
Council Action
11-6-74 Resolution #3539 was adopted, approving tentative map for
.C/T 74-20. The Final Map was also approved, subject,to
receipt of bonds, fees and agreements within fifteen days,

RESOLUTION NO. 3539
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
WITH CONDITIONS TENTATIVE MAP (CT 74-20)
FOR 20 CONDOMINIUM UNITS ON ONE LOT GEN-
ERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE ON
HARRISON STREET SOUTH OF CHINQUAPIN
AVENUE. APPLICANT: HARRISON LAGOON
CONDOMINIUMS
WHEREAS, on September 24, 1974, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 1098 recommending to the City
Council that Tentative Map (CT 74-20) be conditionally approved;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on the
15th day of October , 1974, considered the recommendation of
the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said Tentative Map has been declared to have a
nonsignificant impact on the environment, and a Negative Declara-
tion has been prepared and filed in compliance with the require-
ments of the City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance
of 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
:•:. , A. That the above recitations are true and correct.
••*'-" B. That Tentative Map (CT 74-20) is hereby approved
subject to all applicable requirements of the Carlsbad Municipal
Code and to the satisfaction of the following conditions:
1. All public improvements shall be made in conformity
to the City of Carlsbad Engineering Design Criteria and
Standard Plans, the Subdivision Ordinance and other City
standards to the satisfaction of the City Engineer without
cost to the City of Carlsbad and free of all liens and
encumbrances. Improvement plans for water and sewer
systems shall meet the requirements of the respective
service districts.
2. Side and rear yards shall be fenced with a six-
foot-high solid fence or equal in compatible materials
with those used in the main structure.
3. Exterior lighting shall be provided in the off-
street parking areas, and shall be shielded so as not to
shine or glare on adjacent properties.

4. Prior to final building inspection clearance all
landscaping shall be installed. Said landscaping shall
at all times be maintained in a manner acceptable to the
Parks and Recreation Director.
5. Provisions shall be made for underground cable
TV service.

6. Park-in-lieu fees shall be granted to the City
concurrent with City Council approval of the final map.
C. .That said Tentative Map, together with the provisions
for its design and improvement and subject to the above "conditions,
is consistent with all applicable general and specific plans of
the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 6th day of November , 1974,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, McComas, Lewis and Skotnicki.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
