Statement of the Hatter and Estancia Street
1. Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad
Tract 73-2 (Santa Fe Glens) for conformance with-the State
Subdivision Map Act and applicable local ordinances of the City
of Carlsbad.
The Final Map conforms substantially with the conditions of the
tentative map approved by City Council on November 19, 1974 by
Resolution No. 3547.
2. Portions of lots 246 and 247 designated "portions of lots' 246 and
247 reserved for future street, La Costa Vale, Unit No. I, Map
No. 7457 recorded October 18, 1972, was offered for dedication but
was rejected and never accepted by the City.
Acceptance of this reserved future street is now in order (see
Exhibit B). This will complete the street design requirement for
' CT 73-2.

Staff Recommendations to City Manager
1. Adopt a motion approving the final map of Carlsbad Tract 73-2 (Santa
Fe Glens) subject to fees, agreements, bondsy .and..annexation-to the
Leucadia County Water District within 15 days.
2. Approving Resolution No. £&£'$' regarding acceptance of the
portion of lots 246 and 247 reserved for future street of Carlsbad
Tract 73-2.

RESOLUTION NO. 3558
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES CERTAIN
PREVIOUSLY REJECTED EASEMENTS REQUIRED
BY CARLSBAD TRACT 73-2
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. The following described real property located in the City
of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, particularly
described as portions of Lots 246 and 247 designated "portions of
Lots 246 and 247 reserved for future street" according to Map there-
of No. 7457, recorded October 18, 1972, which was previously rejected
by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego for public
street purposes, is now hereby accepted for public street purposes.
2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall cause a
certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County and to cause a copy thereof
to be forwarded to the County Assessor of the County of San Diego,
State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 7th
day of January , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis and flcComas
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Skotnicki / ' / /
