Statement of the Matter
The City Council on April 15, 1975 adopted Resolution No. 3631, a resolution of intention for vacating a portion of Palomar Airport Road, approximately 2850 feet westerly of El Camino Real.
The City Council set May 20, 1975 at 7:30PM as the time and the
City Council chambers, 1200 Elm Avenue, as the place for a public hearing for all persons interested in or objecting to said pro-
posed vacation.
' All utility .companies were notified and ea.sement reservations are
not required. . Posting and publication of the proposed street
vacation were completed per the Street Vacation Act of 1941,

VACATING A PORTION OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD
~~ NO FEE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. That all publication and posting of notices regarding
the proposed vacation of a portion of Palomar Airport Road pursuant
to Resolution of Intention No. 3631 have been given as required
by law.
2. That the City Council did hear the evidence offered by
all persons interested in said proposed street vacation, and does
find from all the evidence submitted that a portion of Palomar
Airport Road located approximately 2580 feet westerly from the
intersection of El Camino Real in the City of Carlsbad, County of
San Diego, State of California, particularly described on Exhibit
A, attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein, is
unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does
hereby make this order vacating said portion of Palomar Airport
Road
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 20th day of
May , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and
Councilwoman Casler

Vacation of a portion of Palomar Airport Road
That portion of a Public Road Easement granted to the County of San Diego, recorded October 17, 1960, file no. 206352, in the County Recorder's Office, said Road Easement now vested in the interest of the City of Carlsbad; contained within a portion of
"Lot G", Rancho Agua Hedionda, according to Map thereof No. 823 and shown on Record of Survey No. 6493, all on file in the Office of the Colrnty Recorder of the County of San Diego, State of Calif-
ornia, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Northeasterly corner of said Record of
Survey 6493; thence South 79°42'00" West (Record South 79°07'4311 West) aloq the Northerly line of said Record of Survey 6493,
being also the Southerly line of Palomar Airport as shown on
said Record of Survey, a distance of 2321.59 feet to an inter- section with the Southeasterly line of that certain parcel of land deeded to the County of San Diego per deed recorded April
3, 1974 as File/Page 74-083014 of Official Records; thence South
55O01 I15" West along said Southeasterly line a distance of 255.13 feet to the Southeast right of way line of Palomar Airport Road as shown on Road Survey 1534-66; thence South 53O53'52" West along
said right of way line a distance of 270.00 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said Southeast right of way line
South 10°18 ' 00" East (Record South 10°19 '21" East) a distance of
. 54.66 feet; thence North 44O26'37" West (Record North. 44O27'58"
West) a distance of 49.74 feet to the aforementioned Southeast right of way line of Palomar Airport Road; thence North 53O53'52"
East a distance of 31;Ol feet along said right of way line to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
