Statement of the Matter

The City Council at your meeting of June 3, 1975, directed the City
Attorney to prepare the necessary documents adopting Specific Plan
(SP-168). The ordinance adopting the Specific Plan is attached.

6-17-75 The Co.uncil acknowledged receipt of a petition containing 95
signatures opposing the development as it would result in the
disruption of lagoon terrain, decrease air quality and increase
vehicular traffic.
Following discussion on the points raised, Ordinance #9429 wa-s
introduced for a first reading, adopting Specific Plan SP-168.
